Description Aiza will first introduce the retirement savings options available in Malaysia – most of which primarily provides for a lump sum at retirement. A key concern for many is how then to manage a retirement income.

Jules will then take the stage by looking at the concept of retirement as it is new and evolving. There are many challenges developing efficient and secure retirement income products in the drawdown phase in Defined Contribution (DC) environments. We apply some traditional actuarial tools, step back from some standard approaches, consider the perspectives of key stakeholders and share a collective process that can generate more efficient use of accumulated retirement funds for the rest of retirees lives
