2024 SOA Asia-Pacific Symposium

The Society of Actuaries (SOA) is hosting the Asia-Pacific Annual Symposium on 12-13 June 2024 in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. The theme of this year is Embracing the New Norm - Beyond Actuarial Frontier. With the support from Actuarial Society of Malaysia, this symposium will provide a learning and networking platform for members and non-members in all over Asia to share their experiences in the actuarial profession, the finance and insurance industries, as well as other fields related to actuaries.

Joint Regional Seminar 2024

Welcome to the Joint Regional Seminar 2024.

The Joint Regional Seminar (JRS) is an annual Life and Health Insurance event co-organised by the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries and Actuaries Institute Australia with the support of the local actuarial societies in the region. Reaching over 1,000 actuaries, it is designed to assist actuaries and other professionals to gain insights across the APAC markets and support their continuous professional development (CPD) requirements.

The Joint Regional Seminar qualifies for (Actuaries Institute Australia / Institute and Faculty of Actuaries / Actuarial Society of Malaysia) CPD. 

A maximum of 7.5 CPD hours can be claimed from the JRS Regional and Local Programme.
